Roloc is 3M’s quick-change attachment, so the disc twists onto a threaded holder and is swapped without tools, while 1187C identifies the abrasive specification within the Cubitron 3 family. Fibre-backed discs of this type are put to weld dressing, edge break and heavy stock removal on metal.
