About the NEW PIG PLP219 – Dri loose

The PLP219 loose absorbent is New Pig part PLP219, a granular sorbent supplied in shaker containers rather than bags, so it can be dispensed directly onto a spill. The granules are a cellulose fibre blend with kaolin clay and calcium carbonate, and they wick liquid on contact rather than relying on surface coating as clay alone does. The composition is silica-free, which removes the respirable crystalline silica hazard associated with clay absorbents, and it is described as non-abrasive and low-dust so it can be used around finished floors and machinery. It absorbs oils, coolants, solvents and water. Each container takes up to approximately 2.4 litres and a box of four takes up to approximately 9.5 litres. The product contains post-consumer recycled cellulose content. It is also lighter to carry and handle than a clay absorbent of equivalent capacity.
