PL6-01 is a Pisco PL series male elbow: a one-touch push-in pneumatic fitting that turns a tube run through 90 degrees where it meets a threaded port. One end accepts 6 mm outside-diameter tube on the push-in collet; the other is an R1/8 male tapered thread for the port. The one-touch principle means the tube is pushed home by hand until the internal gripping claw and seal engage, and is released by pressing the collet ring back towards the fitting body and withdrawing the tube. No tooling is required on the tube side and no thread tape is used on that connection. Elbow-format fittings of this kind are chosen where a straight fitting would force a tight bend radius in the tubing or where the port faces into restricted space. Body material and pressure ratings differ between the standard PL series and Pisco’s stainless variants, so confirm the required material at RFQ stage.
