The 811-1486 is a one-piece, self-locking cable tie of 142 mm length and 3.2 mm strap width, moulded in black nylon 66 (polyamide 6.6). Per the distributor’s specification for this part, it is a non-releasable tie — once tensioned, the pawl-and-ratchet head locks permanently and the tie is cut off for removal. The black nylon 66 material is UV resistant and weather resistant, suiting outdoor as well as indoor use, and the published figures give a loop tensile strength of 176.4 N, a maximum bundle diameter of 34 mm, and an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +85 °C. The material’s fire behaviour is listed as flame retardant.
