The Stahlwille 65436002 is a circlip plier for inside circlips — the retaining rings that sit in a machined groove inside a bore rather than on the outside of a shaft. Internal pliers work in the opposite sense to external ones: squeezing the handles closes the tips and compresses the ring so it can be drawn out of, or fed into, the bore.
