About the Milwaukee M12 Green 360° 3-Plane Laser
The three-plane description is the important one. This laser projects one horizontal and two vertical planes, each sweeping a full 360°, so the reference lines wrap continuously around the room and meet at right angles rather than stopping at a wall or requiring the instrument to be repositioned. That is what separates a three-plane instrument from a simple cross-line laser: layout across an entire space can be set from a single setup, and the vertical planes give a plumb reference on two axes at once. Typical applications
