About the Hex Button Head Screw M3x12 Stainless
This fastener is a button head screw with hexagon socket drive, M3 thread by 12 mm length, in grade A2 stainless steel, made to ISO 7380 — the international standard for hexagon socket button head screws. Button head screws carry a low-profile, domed head with a larger bearing surface than a socket cap head, giving a neat, snag-free finished appearance while still allowing hex-key installation in confined positions. They are widely used on covers, guards, panels and brackets where a rounded, tamper-tolerant external profile is preferred over a protruding cap head. The A2 grade in the designation identifies a general-purpose austenitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered service.
