Overview
The SC-K10 is a professional 10 inch shear made in Sheffield by Wilkinson for Easy Composites, designed for cutting Kevlar and other aramid reinforcement fabrics. The high carbon tool steel blades carry a serration on the upper blade rather than the lower one, and the blades are PTFE (Xylan) coated. It is a right-handed pattern; a left-handed version is offered separately.

Applications
Cutting Kevlar and other aramid fabrics and Diolen-based fabrics in composite lay-up and repair work; the manufacturer advises that use on other abrasive fabrics may shorten blade life.
