About the Bambu Lab PA6-CF Filament, Black, 1 kg
Bambu Lab PA6-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced PA6 (nylon 6) filament for fused-filament 3D printing, supplied here as a 1 kg spool in black at 1.75 mm diameter. The carbon fibre fill raises stiffness and strength substantially over unfilled nylon: Bambu Lab’s technical data sheet lists a flexural modulus of approximately 5460 MPa and flexural strength of approximately 151 MPa (dry), with a heat deflection temperature of about 186 °C at 0.45 MPa. PA6-CF is hygroscopic and the manufacturer recommends drying for 8-12 hours at around 80 °C before use and printing from a dry environment; abrasive carbon fibre content calls for hardened-steel nozzles of 0.4 mm or larger. The material suits functional prototypes and end-use parts needing heat resistance and mechanical toughness.
