About the TS-04 Engineer Mini Combination Spanner Set
The TS-04 is an eight-piece set of miniature combination spanners supplied on a detachable chain. Each spanner carries an open end and a ring end. Across the set the open ends cover 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0 mm, and the ring ends cover 4.0 to 8.0 mm in the same steps, so consecutive spanners overlap and the set spans small metric hardware without gaps. The defining feature is thickness: both the shank and the head are 1.5 mm, which is what allows the spanner to reach nuts recessed in narrow slots or set below a face where a conventional spanner will not enter. The ring end is tilted 30°. The spanners are made from SUS420J2 stainless steel hardened to approximately HRC 50 and are made in Japan. The thin section is intended for light-duty work and is not a substitute for a full-size spanner at high torque.

Typical applications
A thin-section miniature set of this type is used on model, instrument, optical, connector and small mechanism hardware — standoffs, terminal nuts, sensor mounts and jam nuts sunk into counterbores — where the fastener is accessible but a normal spanner is too thick to enter. The stainless material means the set can be kept in cleaner assembly areas. The detachable chain keeps the eight pieces together in a toolbox or a technician’s roll.
