Description
Utility knife blade (OLFA) Lb-9 — BOLTON SKU 69533.
About the OLFA LB-9 Knife Blades, 18mm Snap-Off
LB-9 OLFA snap-off blades are replacement blades from OLFA’s LB range, the 18 mm segmented snap-off format used by the manufacturer’s heavy-duty cutters — the L-1 multipurpose cutter, for example, is catalogued as an 18 mm snap-blade knife taking LB blades. A snap-off blade is scored into segments along its length: when the leading segment dulls, it is broken off at the score line and the blade is advanced to expose a fresh edge, so one blade delivers several working edges before it is spent. Blades are a consumable and are replaced rather than resharpened. The exact pack quantity behind the LB-9 reference is confirmed on the quotation, as pack presentation varies by region and by supplier carton.

Typical applications
These are the consumable side of the 18 mm cutter: stores and goods-in teams opening cartons, crates and strapping, workshop staff trimming foam inserts, insulation, gasket sheet, carpet and plastic sheet, and installation crews cutting film, membrane and packaging on site. Because a fresh edge is a snap away, LB blades are the sensible choice for abrasive materials that blunt an edge quickly and where stopping to change a whole blade would slow the job. They fit only 18 mm LB-compatible bodies and are not interchangeable with the narrower 9 mm blade format.
