About the Oil Filter Wrench 3-Leg for 65-110
This is a three-leg (three-jaw) oil filter wrench sized for spin-on filter canisters between 65 mm and 110 mm in diameter. The three pivoting legs sit against the outer wall of the filter body; as turning force is applied the legs swing inward and close on the canister, so one tool covers the whole 65-110 mm span instead of a separate cup for each filter diameter. Because the grip is generated by the applied torque rather than by a pre-set clamp, the wrench re-seats itself on canisters whose diameter falls anywhere inside that range. It is an alternative to size-specific cap-type wrenches where a workshop handles filters from several equipment types. Supplied under the IKH brand.
