Supplier reference 3183824 is an ISO 14583 hexalobular socket pan head screw in the M2 x 5 mm size, fully threaded, in A4 stainless steel. ISO 14583:2011 specifies these screws in product grade A for thread sizes from M2 up to and including M10, so M2 is the smallest size the standard covers. The hexalobular — six-lobe — recess transmits torque through lobed flanks rather than flats or a cross slot, which reduces cam-out and lets a small driver bit deliver more torque than a comparable Phillips head on a screw of this diameter. A4 is the molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless grade, offering better resistance to chlorides and marine atmospheres than A2. Fully threaded means the thread runs the full 5 mm to the underside of the head.
