A roll-in T-slot nut is dropped into the channel of an extruded aluminium profile and rotated a quarter turn so its shoulders lock against the slot lips. Here the 30 designation identifies the profile series the nut is cut for, and M4 the thread taken by the mating screw, making it a machine-framing and test-rig fixing.
