Description
Jetech 5.5mm Combination Wrench — BOLTON SKU 72558.
About the Jetech 5.5mm Combination Wrench
The jetech 5 5mm combination wrench carries an open jaw at one end and a closed ring at the other, both in the same nominal size — 5.5 mm, the smallest size in Jetech’s metric combination range. Jetech’s metric combination wrenches are forged from chrome-vanadium alloy steel and heat treated, with a sand-blasted finish. The ring end uses a 12-point profile, which allows the wrench to be re-engaged every 30 degrees in restricted swing, and an off-corner loading geometry that bears on the flats of the fastener rather than its corners to reduce rounding. The box end is set at a 15-degree offset from the handle, giving finger clearance above a flat surface and allowing the wrench to be flipped to gain extra ratcheting positions.

Typical applications
At 5.5 mm this wrench addresses small hex nuts and bolt heads — typically M3 hardware, terminal nuts, cable-gland lock nuts and small standoffs — rather than structural fasteners. The open jaw suits nuts that can only be reached from the side, such as those on a threaded rod already carrying a fitting, while the 12-point ring gives better grip for final tightening. The 15-degree offset is useful on nuts sitting close to a panel face.
