About the Dremel 8250 12V Cordless Rotary Tool, Brushless
The 8250 cordless rotary tool is Dremel’s 12 V lithium-ion multi-tool built around a brushless motor. Speed is variable from 5,000 to 30,000 rpm, so the same tool can be set slow for plastics and soft materials or run at full speed for cutting and grinding. Dremel states that the brushless drive gives around 20 per cent more power than the corded 4300 and roughly twice the runtime of the earlier 8220. The tool takes the full range of Dremel rotary accessories and attachments, and the patented EZ Twist nose cap allows accessories to be changed by hand without a separate collet wrench. Dremel positions it against the corded 4300 and the earlier cordless 8220. The product record lists the tool supplied with five rotary tool accessories.
