About the UG981108-01 Hand-Held 50cc Sealant Gun
This is the hand-held application tool for Av-DEC’s injectable sealants, in the size that takes the 50 cc cartridge. Av-DEC supplies its injectable sealants in 50 cc or 200 cc cartridges together with mixing straws, and the dispenser is a reusable tool built to be used repeatedly rather than discarded with the cartridge — a companion part, UG981108-02, covers the 200 cc size. Thixoflex is a thixotropic flexible sealant: it holds its shape once placed, giving a semi-solid seal over the treated area instead of slumping away from it, which is what allows a sealant to be injected into a gap or around a fitting and stay where it was put. Typical applications
