The EREM 543E round nose plier is a precision round-nose plier with very fine, smooth jaws, made from high grade tool steel and finished with a non-reflecting surface so that glare does not interfere with work under bench lamps or a microscope. Overall length is 4.75 in, approximately 121 mm, and the tip width is 0.031 in, around 0.8 mm — the dimension that determines the smallest loop diameter the tool can form. Round-nose jaws are tapered and circular in section rather than flat, which is what makes them a forming tool: wire is wrapped around the jaw to produce a controlled radius. Because the jaws are smooth and unserrated they will not mark or nick the workpiece, an important property when forming plated or fine-gauge wire that must not be scored. The tool is ESD safe and has ergonomic handles. Country of origin is Switzerland.

Typical applications
