Description
Hex Nut, M6, 10 mm A/F, Stainless Steel A2, DIN 934 / ISO 4032 — BOLTON SKU 53335.
About the Hex Nut, M6, 10 mm A/F, Stainless
This Hex Nut M6 10 mm across-flats size is manufactured to the dimensional requirements of DIN 934 / ISO 4032, the general-purpose hexagon nut standards. It is produced in A2 austenitic stainless steel, an 18/8 chromium–nickel grade broadly comparable to AISI 304, which resists corrosion in general industrial atmospheres without any additional coating. The thread is the standard metric coarse pitch for M6 (1.0 mm), so the nut mates with any M6 coarse-threaded bolt, screw or stud, and it is driven with a 10 mm spanner or socket. As a plain, non-locking hexagon nut it can be paired with flat washers, spring washers or thread-locking compound where the joint design calls for additional security. Both referenced standards specify the same 10 mm across-flats hexagon at the M6 size, matching the spanner size used for standard M6 hex-head bolts, so mixed hardware drives with one tool.

Typical applications
M6 stainless hex nuts of this size are used throughout equipment assembly to secure brackets, enclosures, guards and panel hardware on M6 studs and bolts. The A2 stainless version is chosen over zinc-plated steel where fittings face humidity, washdown or outdoor exposure, and where a corrosion-free appearance matters on visible hardware.
