This Hex Socket Head Cap Screw M3 size carries the standard metric coarse thread for M3 (0.5 mm pitch) at a length of 14 mm, and is made in A2 austenitic stainless steel — an 18/8 chromium–nickel grade comparable to AISI 304 that resists atmospheric corrosion without plating. The socket head cap pattern has a cylindrical head with an internal hexagon drive, allowing the screw to be installed in a counterbored hole so the head finishes flush or below the surface, and enabling higher installation torque than slotted or cross-recess drives of the same size.
