This M4 Hex Lock Nut Stainless Steel item is the M4 size of BOLTON’s A2 stainless locking-nut hardware, with an M4 × 0.7 coarse thread. Locking hexagon nuts hold their position on the thread when a joint is subjected to vibration or repeated load reversals, reducing the risk of gradual loss of clamping force between maintenance intervals. The A2 austenitic grade (304 type) gives dependable corrosion resistance in normal atmospheric and washdown environments without paint or plating, so the nut can be used bare on visible or weather-exposed assemblies. It is driven with standard hex spanners or sockets and assembles onto any M4 × 0.7 external thread, including the fully threaded M4 screws listed in the same range. Supplied loose; quantities, packaging and any certification requirements are confirmed when the RFQ is quoted.
