Description
ISO 10642 Socket Countersunk Head Screw M5x12-A4 — BOLTON SKU 57137.
About the ISO 10642 Socket Countersunk Head Screw M5x12-A4
This M5 x 12 mm hexagon socket countersunk head screw in A4 stainless steel is made to ISO 10642 (dimensionally equivalent to DIN 7991), the standard for flush-fitting socket countersunk screws. The 90-degree countersunk head seats into a matching chamfer so the fastener finishes level with the surface. At M5 the coarse pitch is 0.8 mm, the head diameter is 10 mm nominal with a maximum head height of 2.8 mm, and the drive is a 3 mm hex key. The 12 mm nominal length of this ISO 10642 Socket Countersunk Head Screw is measured overall including the head, as is conventional for countersunk fasteners. A4 austenitic stainless steel (316 type, molybdenum-bearing) provides the higher chloride-corrosion resistance tier of the common stainless fastener grades, suited to marine-adjacent, chemical-splash and washdown service.
