Description
Countersunk Hex Socket Head Screw M4x12 Stainless Steel ISO 10642 — BOLTON SKU 57572.
About the Countersunk Hex Socket Head Screw M4x12 Stainless
The Countersunk Hex Socket Head Screw M4x12 is a stainless steel flush-fitting fastener to ISO 10642 (dimensionally matching DIN 7991). Its 90-degree countersunk head pulls down into a chamfered seat so nothing stands proud of the joint face. For the M4 size the standard gives a 0.7 mm coarse thread pitch, an 8 mm nominal head diameter, a 2.3 mm maximum head height and a 2.5 mm internal hexagon drive; nominal length for countersunk screws is measured over the head, so this part sits within a 12 mm overall envelope. The designation specifies stainless steel without naming the grade — the delivered grade and certificate (for example A2 or A4 per ISO 3506) can be confirmed at quotation. Like all screws of this standard, drive torque should respect the shallow head and socket, which are smaller than those of an equivalent cap screw.
