This Hex Cap Head Screw M4x10 A4 is a short M4 hexagon socket head cap screw in A4 stainless steel, produced to DIN 912 (dimensionally the same as ISO 4762). The M4 size has a 0.7 mm coarse thread pitch, a 7 mm maximum head diameter, a 4 mm head height and a 3 mm internal hexagon drive. Its 10 mm nominal length — two and a half diameters — is the choice for shallow tapped holes, thin clamped parts and space-limited joints where the 12 mm and 16 mm siblings in BOLTON’s range would protrude or bottom out. The cylindrical head drops into a standard counterbore for a flush, protected finish, and the deep hexagon socket transmits solid assembly torque at this small scale. A4 stainless (316 type, ISO 3506 family) carries molybdenum for improved resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-exposed service.
