The Hex Socket Head Cap Screw M5x70 is a long-reach ISO 4762 (DIN 912 pattern) cap screw in A4 stainless steel: an M5 thread on a 70 mm nominal length, fourteen diameters long. The head geometry is the standard M5 set — 8.5 mm maximum diameter, 5 mm height, 4 mm internal hexagon — with a 0.8 mm coarse thread pitch. Long cap screws of this proportion are used to reach through deep components, spacer tubes, stacked housings or thick insulation to a tapped member far below the surface, tasks that short screws simply cannot span.
