The Hex Socket Button Head Screw M3x8 combines an M3 metric thread with a short 8 mm nominal length, one of the most compact sizes in the button head family. It is made from A4 stainless steel, the acid-resistant austenitic 316-family grade whose molybdenum addition improves performance against chlorides and coastal atmospheres. The domed, low-profile head is driven by an internal hexagon socket, keeping the outer surface smooth and reducing the risk of drive damage during repeated servicing. All stated attributes — thread, length, head form and material grade — come directly from the item designation; thread class, passivation and certificate of conformity requirements can be agreed when the RFQ is processed.
