About the Hexagon Nut M5 A4 Stainless Steel
The Hexagon Nut M5 A4 Stainless Steel is a standard metric hexagon nut with an M5 internal thread, manufactured in A4 stainless steel. A4 identifies the acid-resistant austenitic group equivalent to the 316 family: its molybdenum addition markedly improves resistance to chloride pitting, salt spray and many industrial chemicals compared with A2 (304-family) nuts. A plain hexagon nut of this kind is tightened with standard spanners or sockets and is the normal mating component for A4 screws and studs, keeping the whole joint in one corrosion class and avoiding galvanic mismatch.
