The Flat Washer M6x1.6 A4 Stainless Steel is a plain washer to the DIN 125 form A pattern, the chamfer-free flat washer standard used throughout metric fastening. For the M6 size the DIN 125 form A table gives a 6.4 mm inside diameter, 12 mm outside diameter and the 1.6 mm thickness stated in this item’s designation. It is produced in A4 stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing 316-family austenitic grade with strong resistance to chloride and marine corrosion, which keeps the washer compatible with A4 screws and nuts in the same joint. Certification and any surface-finish requirements can be defined when you submit the request for quotation. The 1.6 mm section gives the washer enough stiffness to seat an M6 bolt head or nut squarely without dishing when the joint is pulled up to normal assembly torque.
