About the Flat Washer M2x0.3 A4 Stainless Steel DIN
The Flat Washer M2x0.3 A4 Stainless Steel is a miniature plain washer to the DIN 125 form A pattern, sized for M2 fasteners. At this size the standard’s table gives a 2.2 mm inside diameter and 5 mm outside diameter, with the 0.3 mm thickness reflected in the designation. It is made from A4 stainless steel, the 316-family austenitic grade whose molybdenum addition resists chloride pitting and salt-laden atmospheres, so it can be fitted beneath A4 M2 screws and nylock nuts without introducing a dissimilar metal. Washers of this size are commonly supplied in counted packs; quantity breaks, packaging and certification are agreed through the request-for-quotation process. At only 0.3 mm thick, the washer adds almost nothing to grip-length calculations while still giving the tiny M2 screw head a flat, defined seat on the component beneath.
