Description
Hex Nut M6 Stainless Steel A2 DIN 934 / ISO 4032 — BOLTON SKU 60105.
About the Hex Nut M6 Stainless Steel A2 DIN
This Hex Nut M6 Stainless Steel A2 is a standard hexagon nut dual-referenced to DIN 934 and ISO 4032, the two most widely used specifications for full-height metric hex nuts. It carries an M6 x 1.0 coarse metric thread and a 10 mm width across flats, driven with standard 10 mm spanners and sockets. The material is A2 austenitic stainless steel, the 304-type grade that is the general-purpose corrosion-resistant choice for fastener assemblies: it resists atmospheric corrosion and many industrial environments without coating, and it is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. As a plain full nut it mates with any M6 x 1.0 externally threaded fastener — bolts, socket screws, studs and threaded rod — and is normally paired with a plain washer to protect the joint face. DIN 934 and ISO 4032 differ only marginally in nut height for this size, which is why suppliers list the two designations together.

Typical applications
M6 A2 hex nuts appear throughout general machine building, enclosure and frame assembly, and maintenance stock for equipment operating in normal atmospheric and light industrial environments. They complete M6 bolted joints on brackets, guards, panels and fabricated structures where a corrosion-resistant but non-marine-grade fastener set is sufficient.
