Socket Head Cap Screw M3x10 Stainless Steel A2 ISO 4762 (BN 610) — BOLTON SKU 60218.
About the Socket Head Cap Screw M3x10 Stainless Steel
This Socket Head Cap Screw M3x10 Stainless item is supplied against Bossard article group BN 610: fully threaded hexagon socket head cap screws to DIN 912 / ISO 4762 in A2 stainless steel. It has an M3 x 0.5 coarse metric thread over a 10 mm length that is threaded along its full grip, so the screw can clamp thin stacks with no unthreaded shank interfering in the nut or tapped hole. For the M3 size the standard defines a 5.5 mm head diameter and 3 mm head height with a 2.5 mm hexagon socket, letting the head sit flush in a counterbore. Bossard lists the commercial quality of this A2 range as property class A2-70, corresponding to a tensile strength of 700 N/mm2. A2 (304-type) austenitic stainless resists atmospheric corrosion uncoated and is the standard corrosion-resistant grade for small precision fasteners.
