This Blind Rivet Nut Knurled Flanged M4 x 11.3 mm is an aluminium rivet nut that places a load-bearing M4 machine thread into thin sheet material working entirely from one side of the workpiece. It is set with a rivet-nut tool that draws the threaded body back so it collapses and clamps against the rear of the panel. Two features define this variant: the knurled body bites into the hole wall to resist rotation when the mating screw is torqued, and the flanged head bears on the front face of the panel, spreading load and covering the hole edge. Aluminium construction keeps added weight low and avoids galvanic mismatch when the insert is fitted to aluminium sheet. The 11.3 mm overall length is as stated in the designation.
