Description
Hex Socket Cap Head Screw M3x20, Stainless Steel A2, Full Thread — BOLTON SKU 66263.
About the Hex Socket Cap Head Screw M3x20, Stainless
This Hex Socket Cap Head Screw M3x20 is an M3 x 20 mm cap screw in A2 stainless steel, threaded along its full length. Socket cap screws combine a cylindrical head and internal hexagon drive for high torque in confined, counterbored locations. The defining attribute of this variant is the full thread: with no plain shank, the screw offers usable thread along all 20 mm, so it can engage a nut or tapped boss at any depth within its length — useful when the same screw must serve joints of varying stack thickness, or when maximum thread engagement is wanted in a shallow tapped part. A2 stainless (304 type) provides general-purpose corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered service. The M3 hexagon socket takes a 2.5 mm key. BOLTON supplies this screw against request for quotation; state quantities and packaging requirements in your RFQ.

Typical applications
Clamping stacked plates, spacers and standoffs in electronics and instrument assemblies where the fastener must engage nuts or tapped bosses at variable depths. The 20 mm fully threaded form is a common choice for prototyping and small-batch builds because one screw covers a range of joint thicknesses.
