The ISO 14583 M2x8 A4 Torx Socket pan head screw is a miniature metric fastener made to ISO 14583, the international standard for hexalobular socket pan head screws. The hexalobular (Torx-style) recess engages the driver over six lobes rather than corners, which improves torque transfer and reduces cam-out and recess damage on small screws — a practical benefit at M2 size, where slotted or cross recesses strip easily.
