Description
Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screw M4 x 10, Stainless Steel A2, Full Thread — BOLTON SKU 68912.
About the Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screw M4
This Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screw M4 x 10 has an ISO metric M4 coarse thread (0.7 mm pitch) and a 10 mm nominal length, threaded over its full length so it can clamp thin parts and run into short tapped holes without an unthreaded shank interfering. The cylindrical cap head with internal hexagon drive is the standard machine-building head form: it sits in a counterbore for a flush surface, and the socket drive allows high tightening torque from a small head diameter. The screw is made of A2 austenitic stainless steel — the 18/8 chromium-nickel grade classified under ISO 3506 — giving good general corrosion resistance without coating. At this 10 mm length the full thread means grip length equals fastener length, simplifying stack-up selection for thin assemblies.
