This Alteco marker is a yellow paint marking pen designated by the manufacturer as waterproof and quick-drying. Paint markers of this type deposit an opaque paint line rather than a dye-based ink, so the mark remains visible on dark, non-porous or previously painted surfaces where ordinary felt markers fade or fail to cover.
