The Makita 195563-0 is a plunge base attachment that converts Makita compact router/trimmer motors — including the RT0700C and the cordless DRT50 — into a plunge router for depth-controlled cuts. It provides a plunge capacity of 0-35 mm with a three-stage turret for staged depth adjustment, controlled through an easy-operating plunge lock lever. The base is lightweight aluminium with contoured handles, and a replaceable non-marring plastic base plate protects the workpiece and slides smoothly across it. The base accepts industry-standard template guides, extending it to pattern and inlay work. Supplied as a base only; the router motor unit is not included.
