About the 248.JT7PB Facom Drift Punch Set, 7 Piece
The 248.JT7PB drift punch set is a seven-piece set of one-piece parallel drift punches from Facom, covering 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm tip diameters and supplied in a roll pouch. Each punch has a hexagonal shank, which stops the tool rolling on the bench and gives a positive grip in the hand, with a high-strength steel tip hardened to 52-58 HRc so the working face holds its diameter under hammer blows. The parallel form means the tip diameter is constant over its working length rather than tapering, so the punch can follow a pin through the full depth of a boss without wedging or opening out the hole. The set weighs 0.695 kg complete and is manufactured in France. Punches of this type are also listed as RoHS exempt.

Typical applications
