Overview
The AM-006-7 is a LORD low profile avionics mount from the AM-006 series, a family of compact, all-direction vibration and shock isolators for avionics equipment and other sensitive devices. It uses LORD BTR silicone elastomer bonded between aluminium alloy inner and outer members, giving linear deflection characteristics and low transmissibility at resonance. The part is also written AM006-7.

Applications
AM series mounts support and protect avionics equipment in all types of aircraft, including inertial guidance and navigation systems and radar components, and are also used to isolate engine and aircraft accessories such as fuel controls, pressure sensors and oil coolers. Where the load per support point exceeds a single mount rating, mounts can be installed back-to-back to double capacity and spring rate.
