Overview
SMF-BD004 is a starter Bendix, the drive sub-assembly of a starter motor rather than a complete motor. A starter Bendix is the general name for the drive unit that couples a starter motor to the engine during cranking and releases once the engine runs under its own power. It is sold under the SMF reference series for small-displacement four-stroke scooter and light ATV engines. Gear tooth counts, diameters and engine fitment are confirmed against the buyer’s engine model at RFQ stage.
