The 110-88001 EVO9I-MET/PL-BU cable tie gun is HellermannTyton’s manual EVO9i tensioning tool in a plastic housing, covering cable ties from 4.6 mm to 13.5 mm in width. The tool applies the EVO 9i tension, lock and cut sequence: the tie is tensioned to a preset value, the lock is engaged and the surplus tail is cut off flush in one action. Cut-off is flush to the tie head, which matters on harnesses because a projecting tail edge can cut into wire insulation or into the hands of anyone working in the loom afterwards. Tension is calibrated and adjustable across a range of settings, so bundles of different sizes and tie strengths receive consistent, repeatable tension rather than whatever the operator applies by feel. The housing and grip are ergonomically shaped to reduce the risk of repetitive strain in production use. The tool weighs 0.369 kg and is finished in blue and grey.
