Overview
Alpha Wire 1234 is a flat tinned copper braid from the FIT Wire Management accessories range. It is woven from 864 solid 36 AWG tinned copper ends on 48 carriers into a 0.750 in (19.05 mm) wide, 0.040 in thick ribbon, which keeps it flexible while giving a low-resistance, wide-contact conductor. Alpha Wire positions its braid as a low-resistance way to make point-to-point ground straps and, in retrofit work, to add shielding over an existing cable. The 1234 braid is offered by Alpha Wire in 100 ft, 500 ft and 1000 ft put-ups.
