About the HP 727pk 27in 4K Thunderbolt 4 Monitor
The 727pk 4K Thunderbolt monitor is a 27-inch (68.6 cm) desktop display running a native 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 on an IPS Black panel, with a typical brightness of 400 nits and a static contrast ratio of 2000:1 at a 60 Hz refresh rate. Colour coverage is quoted at 100% sRGB and 98% Display P3, with HDR400 support and Pantone validation. Connectivity is built around Thunderbolt 4, which carries video, data and up to 100 W of power delivery over a single cable, alongside DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, an RJ-45 Ethernet port and an integrated USB hub, so a notebook can dock to the display and pick up wired network and peripherals at the same time. Displays can be daisy-chained. The stand is adjustable, the chassis is VESA mountable, and the monitor carries a three-year limited warranty covering parts and labour.

Typical applications
A single-cable Thunderbolt dock-and-display arrangement suits engineering, design and procurement workstations where a notebook moves between desks, while the RJ-45 port keeps machines on wired networks in environments where wireless is restricted. The 4K resolution and full sRGB coverage support CAD, drawing review and documentation work at native scale. Daisy-chaining allows dual-screen desks to be built without extra ports on the host machine.
