About the GHG5167506R0001 Eaton ATEX Plug, 16 A 5P
The GHG5167506R0001 ATEX plug 16 A 5P is the five-pole member of the GHG 16 A Ex plug family within the Eaton Crouse-Hinds CEAG hazardous-area programme, which lists 16 A devices in three, four and five pole forms. Five poles at 346 to 415 V means three phases plus neutral and earth, so this is the three-phase variant rather than the single-phase 200 to 250 V version. The contact position is 6 h, the clock-face keying that prevents a three-phase plug being inserted into a lower-voltage socket. It is released for Zone 2 and Zone 22, covering gas and combustible dust atmospheres that are not expected during normal operation. One cable gland is fitted for the trailing lead. As with the rest of the family, it is designed to mate with the matching GHG socket of the same rating, pole count and clock position.
