SnapSpeed PLA is Snapmaker’s polylactic acid filament for fused-deposition printing, supplied on 1 kg net spools in 1.75 mm diameter and rated by the manufacturer for printing at speeds up to 300 mm/s while holding a stable extrusion. This item is the pearl white colour, carried under the colour reference E2DEDB — a very light off-white with a slight warm grey component rather than a pure white. That matters when parts are printed across several spools or combined with other components: quoting the hex reference on a reorder is the only reliable way to get the same shade back, since white PLA shades vary noticeably between batches and brands. Pearl white also shows layer lines and surface defects less harshly than a saturated colour under workshop lighting, which makes it a common choice for parts that will be visually inspected or photographed. The filament is compatible with most FDM printers taking 1.75 mm filament, including the Snapmaker U1, Artisan, 2.0, J1/J1s and Original machines.

Typical applications
A neutral pearl white is the usual first choice for form-and-fit prototypes, jigs and inspection aids, where the geometry has to be read clearly and any surface defect must be visible before the part is signed off. It is also used for master patterns and presentation models that will later be painted or coated, since a light base needs fewer coats than a saturated colour. For parts that must remain distinguishable from a white workbench or fixture, a stronger colour from the same line is the better selection.
