About the PETG Filament (1kg)-Red
This PETG Filament 1kg -Red item is a one-kilogram spool of glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate filament for fused-deposition printers, supplied in red. PETG occupies the practical middle ground between PLA and ABS: it holds shape at higher temperatures than PLA, but shrinks far less than ABS as it cools, so large flat parts stay down on the bed without an enclosure. It is ductile rather than brittle, tending to bend and whiten before it breaks, and it has good resistance to moisture and to many dilute chemicals, which is why it is common for parts that see fluids or outdoor exposure. The trade-offs are a tendency to string between travel moves and a softer surface than ABS, so it does not sand or polish as cleanly. PETG is hygroscopic and should be stored sealed with desiccant. Filament diameter is not recorded against this line — state whether you need 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm on your RFQ.

Typical applications
Red PETG suits functional parts that must be both durable and immediately identifiable: guards, stop blocks, isolation tags, fluid-handling brackets and outdoor fittings. The colour is conventionally read as a warning or stop indication, so it is useful where a printed part marks something that must not be operated or removed. The material’s ductility means these parts deform rather than shatter if struck, which matters where a broken fragment would contaminate an assembly.
