About the Black Stretch Film Wrap | 500mm
This item is a black stretch film wrap 500mm roll – an opaque plastic film in the standard width for both hand-applied and machine pallet wrapping. Stretch film works by elastic recovery rather than heat: the film is drawn out under tension as it is wound around the load, and its tendency to return towards its original length holds the load together and against the pallet. That makes it suitable for consolidating mixed or unstable loads without any heat source at the packing station. The black, opaque grade differs from clear film in that the contents of the pallet cannot be identified visually through the wrap, which is often preferred where loads move through third-party premises or open yards, and it also shields contents from direct light during outdoor staging. Film thickness, roll length and core size are confirmed at quotation against the supply offered.
