About the SnapSpeed PLA Filament (1kg)-Red (E72F1D)
This spool is the red variant of Snapmaker’s SnapSpeed PLA line, a polylactic acid filament supplied in 1.75 mm diameter on a 1 kg net spool and rated by the manufacturer for stable extrusion at speeds up to 300 mm/s. The colour is carried under the reference E72F1D, a warm red carrying a noticeable orange component rather than a deep crimson or a blue-shifted scarlet. Red is one of the shades where tone drift between production batches is most visible on an assembled part, so quoting the hex reference on reorder is the reliable way to keep multi-spool builds consistent. In practical terms the strong pigment also means printed features read clearly in photographs and inspection records, which is useful when a printed part forms part of a documented trial. The filament is compatible with most FDM printers accepting 1.75 mm filament, including the Snapmaker U1, Artisan, 2.0, J1/J1s and Original machines.

Typical applications
Red is conventionally reserved for parts that carry a warning or a status meaning: do-not-fly and do-not-operate tags, protective caps and covers fitted during maintenance, blanking plugs, and remove-before-use markers where the item must be noticed before a system is released. It is equally used for colour-coding one half of a mating pair in an assembly aid, and for keyed components where two similar parts must never be interchanged. For general prototype work where colour carries no meaning, a neutral shade avoids implying a status the part does not have.
