Overview
The 3M 1100 is a disposable foam earplug supplied without a cord. Each plug is a tapered cylinder of hypoallergenic polyurethane foam that is rolled down, inserted and allowed to expand to seal the ear canal, and 3M gives it a smooth, dirt-resistant skin for hygiene. The orange plugs in the photo are the familiar 1100 form; a corded version is sold separately as the 3M 1110.
