Recorded under the Maksal brand, this 1/4 in copper tube is the small-bore size commonly used for refrigerant liquid lines, instrument and gauge connections, and pilot or sensing lines. Copper is favoured because it can be bent, flared and brazed on site while resisting corrosion in service. In the photograph the tube is shown as a coil, the form that lets long runs be routed without joints.
